As a Sauté Line Cook, you will be the heartbeat of our kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards. You will utilize a wide variety of complex cooking techniques to prepare meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods, strictly adhering to Restaurant manuals and the specific instructions of our Executive and Sous Chefs. Your role involves ensuring all items are cooked, prepared, and garnished according to the recipe within the standard time frame, while also plating food items in accordance with guest orders and company specifications.
Beyond the stove, you will maintain a safe and sanitary environment by following all sanitation and safety procedures, including proper knife handling and equipment care. You will be expected to clean and sanitize your workstation, utensils, and equipment throughout the day. We value adaptability, so you will also perform additional responsibilities as requested by our Chefs or Managers to support the team's success.
