Internship, co-op, or relevant experience in traffic or transportation engineering. Familiarity with the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress toward obtaining.
