This position supports the Winter Exploration 2025–2026 season, running from December 2025 to April 2026. As a subject matter expert in electrical systems, you will work under the direct supervision of the Driller and general supervision of the Rig Manager. Your primary mission is to ensure the safe operational level of the rig, camp, and assigned vehicles by managing maintenance, repairs, and equipment planning to prevent delays caused by breakdowns.
You will serve as the audit lead for the Electrical Safety Policy, ensuring all duties are performed safely in compliance with certification, experience, and Nordic’s HSE policies. The role requires a high degree of adaptability to harsh environmental conditions, including noise, extreme temperatures, and working at heights within both enclosed industrial rig environments and outside in the elements.
Preference will be given to Calista shareholders, their descendants, spouses of Calista shareholders, and shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g).
