About the Role
This entry-level position is designed for promising new attorneys or those new to the Social Security Disability practice area. It serves as a foundation for future growth within the firm. As a Junior Associate Attorney, you will split your time between two major assignments: representing clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges (approximately 50-67% of your time) and handling various non-hearing tasks. These tasks include answering client questions, reviewing and developing cases, conducting legal research, and drafting pre-hearing briefs and appeals council briefs.
You will have regular client contact via telephone, in person, mail, and email. This role requires significant travel to in-person hearings in other cities and states, up to 70% of the time. Hiring Process
Candidates must reside in one of the following states: CA, TX, GA, FL, NV, TN, DC, NC, or SC. If you have already represented clients in at least 200 disability hearings, please consider our Associate Attorney position instead.
