Junior Accountant

About the Role

The Jr. Accountant serves as a vital support pillar for the hotel's Accounting Department, bridging financial, administrative, and clerical functions. This role is designed to ensure the seamless processing of financial transactions, from accounts payable and receivable to income auditing and cashiering duties. The position exists to maintain the integrity of the hotel's financial records while upholding the Company's Mission, Vision, and Values.

In this capacity, you will be the guardian of accurate financial data, assisting in the reconciliation of point-of-sale systems and the auditing of paperwork from all revenue centers. Your day-to-day involves ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations while managing the delicate balance of daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing reports. You will work collaboratively with team members to maintain organized filing systems and handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Work Environment

This position is primarily based indoors in an air-conditioned environment, operating generally from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, flexibility is key; the role may require holiday and weekend work, as well as potential business travel to deliver services outside the normal work shift. You will utilize standard office equipment, including personal computers, calculators, and communication tools, to execute your duties effectively.
