About the Role
AEBS is seeking a motivated and curious Junior Cloud Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Cloud Services team. This contract position, estimated to last 6-12 months, is designed for recent graduates or early-career technology professionals eager to build hands-on experience with enterprise cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and modern IT operations.
Working directly under the mentorship of the Manager of IT Hosting, you will gain exposure to cloud engineering best practices while contributing to critical infrastructure initiatives across both cloud and on-premises environments. This hybrid role requires an onsite presence in Madison three days per week. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving technical problems, and possesses a foundational understanding of cloud technologies, networking, scripting, or systems administration.

Nice to Have

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+.
