The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and its chapters proudly represent more than 124,500 family physician, resident, and medical student members. Family physicians play a critical role in improving the health of patients, families, and communities across the United States.
The AAFP is committed to helping family physicians improve the health of Americans by advancing the specialty of family medicine, saving members time, and maximizing the value of membership. Our focus every day is to help family physicians spend more time doing what they do best: providing quality and cost-effective patient care.
When you join the AAFP, you are at the center of transforming health care. You are on the leading edge of ensuring family doctors have what they need to adapt, and you are part of a legacy that has been instrumental in improving and advocating for family medicine since 1947. Make an impact that matters. Be Team AAFP.
As the Circulation Manager, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader for the AAFP's core journals: American Family Physician, Family Practice Management, and FP Essentials. You will own the financial performance of a $3.2M subscription revenue stream and a $1.6M expense budget, ensuring that circulation programs are financially sound, operationally efficient, and compliant with evolving regulatory requirements.
In this hybrid role, you will ensure that AAFP journals reach the right audiences through the right channels while supporting broader revenue goals across advertising, marketing, and digital platforms. You will lead internal staff, cross-divisional teams, and external vendors to drive subscription growth, manage fulfillment operations, and maintain rigorous compliance with USPS Periodicals requirements and AAM audit standards.
