About the Role
We are seeking a Programmer Analyst 4 to serve as an integral resource for the maintenance and enhancement of complex Java applications within our department. This role is critical to our mission of ensuring data integrity, streamlining business processes, and maintaining SEM/SUITE compliance. Without dedicated support in this capacity, the department risks relying on manual documentation and screen plan development, which can introduce errors, compromise data accuracy, and lead to the incorrect processing of patient information.
The successful candidate will drive the full software development life cycle (SDLC), from gathering requirements and creating technical specifications to designing, developing, and testing robust solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to review designs, create prototypes, and ensure the logical flow of system requirements. This position requires a balance of deep technical expertise in legacy and modern frameworks while actively applying AI tools to accelerate coding tasks, refactoring, and documentation, all while adhering to strict guardrails for AI-generated code.
