About the Role
As a Janitor for Guardian Equipment, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of our manufacturing facility and its grounds. Your work ensures a safe environment for our team and visitors by adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining critical safety infrastructure.

- check_circlePerform daily cleaning of restrooms, loading docks, stockroom, shipping area, assembly floor, and machine shop
- check_circleCollect trash and debris from company property including plant beds and parking lots
- check_circleFollow safety procedures by handling equipment and supplies according to company protocols
- check_circlePerform seasonal outdoor maintenance including shoveling snow off walkways and driveways
- check_circleExecute monthly plant-wide cleaning tasks including inspecting fire extinguishers and cleaning compressor rooms
- check_circleConduct weekly plant-wide preventative maintenance by inspecting and testing emergency exit lights and fire alarms
Requirements
