Cochran Elementary is seeking a dedicated K-12 Art and Special Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves planning, organizing, and delivering instruction based on the approved curriculum, while monitoring and communicating student progress. The position requires maintaining accurate records, enforcing board policies, and supervising students to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. Teachers in this role may be transferred to other locations or clusters within the district as needs arise during the school term.
Current JCPS teachers interested in transferring to this position must submit their requests via the designated portal. Please note that transfer requests for this specific role will not be considered after May 29, 2026. Candidates must hold Kentucky certification appropriate to the grade level and curricular assignment, along with the experience and preparation required by the Board.
