The IT Support Specialist (Field/Regional) serves as a key liaison between dealership teams and Corporate IT, ensuring technology systems across a defined geographic region are operational, compliant, and aligned with corporate standards. This position may be filled as either a Field Service Technician or Regional IT Coordinator, depending on experience.
In this field-based role based in McKinney, Texas, you will support a network of dealerships spanning McKinney, Austin, Northern California, and Louisiana. Your day involves balancing onsite and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues while managing computer room environments and coordinating IT projects like PC refreshes and new site initiatives. You will build strong relationships with dealership teammates, train users on best practices, and partner with vendors for equipment installation and warranty repairs.
As a field professional, you must be prepared for regular regional travel and the ability to respond to urgent issues and short-notice travel requirements. This is an hourly position where overtime may be required to meet the dynamic needs of the organization.
