Karls Technology is a mobile computer repair service founded in 1999. Headquartered in Arizona, we provide on-site computer services across major metro areas including Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Tampa, Orlando, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Atlanta, Charlotte, Kansas City, San Antonio, and Austin.
About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team of computer technicians. This mid-level position blends the duties of a hardware technician and a desktop support specialist. You will be the face of our service, traveling to client businesses and homes to install, assemble, troubleshoot, service, and repair desktops, laptops, and network equipment.
Your day will involve working with Windows PCs, Apple MacOS, and Chromebooks, as well as configuring routers, switches, and cables. You will also instruct users on the use of their personal computers and networks, assist with peripherals like monitors and smart home devices, and troubleshoot mobile OS and apps on iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
While this role is currently mid-level, we are committed to your growth. If you are the right fit, we are willing to train you to become an advanced-level computer systems engineer.
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates must possess a current CompTIA A+ Certification (or be able to attain it within 90 days of starting), or provide equivalent experience and knowledge. Please note that a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a good driving record are required, as you may drive up to 100 miles per day to reach work orders.
