About the Role
The IT Support Specialist is a vital component of our Information Technology department, dedicated to maintaining the stability, reliability, and efficiency of the organization's IT environment. This position serves as the frontline for end-user support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical challenges.
In this role, you will manage network operations, oversee printer infrastructure, and deliver hands-on desktop support. Your work involves proactively monitoring systems to identify bottlenecks, resolving incidents quickly, and supporting core IT service management processes. Whether diagnosing complex network connectivity issues, configuring enterprise hardware, or guiding users through software troubleshooting, you will play a key part in keeping our technology ecosystem running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMonitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network connectivity across LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi environments
- check_circleDiagnose and resolve network issues including IP conflicts, DNS failures, and DHCP errors
- check_circleTroubleshoot printer-related issues including driver errors, spooler failures, and hardware malfunctions
- check_circleProvide Level II technical support for desktops, laptops, and end-user systems across Windows and macOS
- check_circlePerform system imaging, deployment, and configuration for new devices
- check_circleSupport onboarding and offboarding processes including account provisioning and access management
- check_circleAssist in server room operations including hardware setup, cabling, and rack installations
- check_circleMaintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper tracking of hardware
- check_circleEnsure all incidents and service requests are logged and tracked in ITSM systems
- check_circleInstall, configure, and maintain network and local printers while managing print queues
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field OR equivalent education/experience
- verified1–3 years IT support, network support, or infrastructure experience
- verifiedValid U.S. work authorization
- verifiedCompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications (preferred)
- verifiedITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
- verifiedStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- verifiedExperience with Windows and macOS operating systems
- verifiedKnowledge of printer configuration and troubleshooting
- verifiedFamiliarity with routers, switches, and wireless access points
- verifiedExperience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira)
- verifiedBasic understanding of server and infrastructure environments
Nice to Have
1–3 years of experience in IT support, network support, or infrastructure roles; hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments; CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications; ITIL Foundation certification.
