About the Role
The Helpdesk Technician I serves as the first point of contact for end-user technology support across all SyberJet sites. This entry-level position is ideal for a customer-focused individual with foundational IT skills who is eager to grow within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will provide day-to-day floor support, triaging and resolving basic break/fix issues to ensure employees can perform their work without interruption. You will work closely with senior IT staff, escalating complex issues while owning the resolution of routine support requests. A key aspect of your day involves navigating a unique blend of office and manufacturing floor environments, requiring you to maintain a professional demeanor while adhering to strict compliance obligations, including CMMC 2.0, EAR/ITAR, and Technology Control Plan (TCP) requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleServe as the first point of contact for end-user support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- check_circleDiagnose and resolve basic hardware issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- check_circleImage, deploy, and decommission end-user workstations following established procedures
- check_circleInstall, configure, and update software applications and OS patches on Windows and Linux systems
- check_circlePerform account administration including user provisioning, password resets, and license assignment
- check_circlePrepare workstations and accounts for new hires and execute offboarding tasks
- check_circleProvide hands-on support for conference rooms, AV equipment, and video conferencing systems
- check_circleAdhere to IT security policies and report potential security incidents or phishing attempts
- check_circleContribute to the IT knowledge base by writing and updating end-user support articles
Requirements
