Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced and talented Information Security Analyst to join our dedicated IT Security team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Security Operations to identify opportunities to implement, enhance, and strengthen our security posture. Your work will be vital in maintaining the data security controls mandated by policies and regulations, ensuring the safety of our members' information assets.
This position is designed for a professional who thrives in a hybrid environment. After an initial training period at the RBFCU Administrative Service Center in Live Oak, Texas, you will transition to a hybrid schedule (remote/onsite). The role requires you to reside within the state of Texas and possess a safe, distraction-free workspace at home capable of supporting a hard-wired Ethernet connection to a reliable internet provider.
As an Information Security Analyst, you will be the frontline defender of our digital infrastructure. Your day-to-day involves researching security vulnerabilities, implementing necessary configuration changes and patches, and assisting in the resolution of security incidents. You will collaborate with the IT department to ensure security issues are addressed throughout the project lifecycle and engage in threat hunting activities using indicators of compromise. This role is essential for keeping our systems compliant with current information security regulations and laws.
