As an IT Operations Specialist at Crossnore Communities for Children, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our staff and children have access to the technology they need to thrive. Location and Schedule
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Winston-Salem, NC. The role operates on the 1st shift during weekdays, though hours may vary depending on operational needs. You must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends as dictated by the demands of the position and events.
The position requires occasional driving and travel to multiple work locations, including our campuses in Crossnore, NC, and Hendersonville, NC.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide front-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices
- check_circleDiagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and systems-related issues
- check_circleInstall, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- check_circleSupport wireless and wired networking environments including VPN and connectivity
- check_circleAssist staff with classroom technology, audiovisual equipment, and virtual meeting platforms
- check_circleSupport VOIP phone systems and communication technologies
- check_circleMaintain inventory records, asset tracking systems, and technology documentation
- check_circleAssist with maintaining servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and cloud-based systems
- check_circleSupport cybersecurity initiatives including MFA, endpoint protection, and software patching
- check_circleCreate and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures
- check_circleParticipate in IT projects, deployments, and process improvement initiatives

Requirements
- verifiedAssociate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, CS, or related field
