The IT Helpdesk Manager serves as the operational backbone for information technology at the Nooksack Northwood Casino. In this leadership position, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations, manage the IT staff, and ensure the seamless functioning of all technical systems. Your mission is to promote exceptional customer service for both internal teams and external stakeholders while strictly adhering to applicable laws, internal controls, and established policies.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will supervise IT personnel and serve as a key liaison for all department managers, directors, vendors, and casino staff. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of our network infrastructure, ensuring robust security protocols, and driving the technical strategy that supports the casino's business needs.
This position operates within the dynamic environment of a casino floor and office setting. The role may involve exposure to smoke-filled atmospheres, crowds, and loud noises. You may be required to work weekends and evenings and interact with individuals who may be angered, intoxicated, or distressed. The physical demands include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, walk between the office and casino areas, and lift up to 50 lbs.
