About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the OCI DevOps team, you will collaborate with a group of engineers responsible for the design, development, and operations of our services. This role requires a hands-on approach where you can dive deep into any part of the stack, from cloud infrastructure and networking to complex system interactions. You will assist in defining and developing software, providing technical leadership to peers, and specifying modest changes to existing architecture to meet evolving needs. Requirements
- verified3+ years of experience delivering and operating large software systems at scale
- verifiedBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- verifiedProficient in Java, Python, C/C++, C# or Golang
- verifiedStrong grasp of computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals)
- verifiedWorking familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
- verifiedStrong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills
- verifiedWorking familiarity with the UNIX operating system and related tools
Nice to Have
Proficiency in a second programming language beyond the primary one (Java, Python, C/C++, C#, or Golang).
