This position serves as a hybrid Technical Architect and Lead Developer, bridging the gap between high-level platform strategy and hands-on execution. You will be the final technical escalation point for complex ServiceNow decisions, owning the end-to-end architecture across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, and CMDB domains. The role is designed to ensure platform health while driving the delivery of scalable solutions that align with business and ITIL requirements.
In this capacity, you will guide a team of developers, defining technical standards and design patterns while simultaneously performing deep-dive JavaScript development. Your day-to-day involves translating complex business needs into robust application designs, reviewing code for architectural alignment, and leading the implementation of custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine. You will also play a critical role in upgrade remediation, POC development, and maintaining audit-ready documentation to support SDLC governance.
Candidates must meet specific federal eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a PIV-I security clearance. The selection process includes a criminal background check and verification of federal student loan status. Successful candidates will be required to pick up their PIV-I card in person at a designated location; travel expenses for this requirement are covered by Maximus.
For those requiring assistance during the employment process due to a disability or medical condition, Maximus provides reasonable accommodations. Please contact People Operations at applicantaccom@maximus.com for support with job postings, assessments, or interviews.
