IT Architect - Software

About the Role

This position serves as a hybrid Technical Architect and Lead Developer, dedicated to shaping the future of enterprise ServiceNow implementations. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategic vision and hands-on execution, ensuring that complex ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

In this role, you will act as the final technical escalation point for the platform, defining architectural guardrails and design patterns while simultaneously leading the development of critical functionality. Approximately 25% of your time will be spent on strategic architecture—owning the end-to-end platform design, evaluating new ServiceNow capabilities, and producing technical documentation. The remaining 75% involves leading development efforts, performing hands-on JavaScript coding, and mentoring other developers to build robust custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.

You will partner closely with stakeholders to translate ITIL requirements into actionable solution designs, guide teams through complex upgrades, and ensure the platform remains audit-ready.
