This position serves as a hybrid Technical Architect and Lead Developer within the ServiceNow ecosystem, bridging the gap between high-level strategic design and hands-on engineering execution. The role exists to ensure the scalability, health, and continuous improvement of critical enterprise platforms, specifically focusing on ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and App Engine solutions.
You will spend approximately 25% of your time defining the architectural vision, establishing technical guardrails, and serving as the final escalation point for complex platform decisions. The remaining 75% is dedicated to leading development efforts, performing hands-on JavaScript coding, and guiding a team of developers through the implementation of high-risk components and custom applications.
Your work involves translating business and ITIL requirements into robust, scalable ServiceNow designs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create implementation frameworks and review solution architectures to ensure alignment with platform health. On the development side, you will architect software components, write complex Business Rules and Flow Designer logic, and refactor code for performance. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to mentoring developers, overseeing upgrade remediation, and maintaining audit-ready technical documentation.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens residing in the United States and able to pass a criminal background check.
