About the Role
This position serves as a hybrid Technical Architect and Lead Developer within a critical enterprise environment, focusing on the ServiceNow platform. The role exists to bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that complex ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with ITIL frameworks. You will act as the final technical escalation point for platform decisions while simultaneously driving hands-on development for high-risk components.
In this capacity, you will guide a team of developers, define architectural guardrails, and translate business requirements into robust solution designs. Approximately 25% of your time will be dedicated to owning the end-to-end platform architecture, evaluating new ServiceNow capabilities, and maintaining technical documentation. The remaining 75% involves leading complex JavaScript development, building custom applications via App Engine, and ensuring code quality through rigorous review and refactoring.
