This position serves as a vital bridge between technical systems and the healthcare community, focusing on the administration and support of the company's electronic health record (EHR) and practice management applications. You will be a key member of a multi-dimensional IS team, working under direct supervision to configure, test, document, and implement computer application systems.
The role is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment, coordinating closely with vendor representatives, project team members, and management. Your day-to-day involves partnering with internal resources and external vendors to select, configure, and implement packaged software solutions. You will be deeply involved in the entire project lifecycle, from process mapping and software design to system testing, training development, and site-by-site implementation.
Beyond technical configuration, you will act as a technical subject matter expert, directly interfacing with external partners and serving as a primary point of contact for Tier 3 troubleshooting. A significant portion of your time will be spent working closely with physicians, center managers, and medical assistants to gather requirements, develop high-quality documentation, and train users throughout the organization. You will also coordinate the installation of necessary hardware and network connectivity to ensure seamless operations.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research new technologies and changing business rules. The team values self-driven individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills who can effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff.
