Currently, Scout manages approximately $2 billion in investor commitments across five flagship investment funds.
We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join our Investor Relations team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insight into the institutional investment management business and the energy & real assets sectors.\n You will work closely with Scout's Principal of Investor Relations and the founding Partners of the firm. This role provides hands-on experience working with fund and asset finance, operations, and marketing teams across the company. You will have direct exposure to all of Scout's existing and prospective investors, including some of the most elite and thought-leading institutions in the world.
Designed to provide high visibility to Scout's investors and General Partner, this position will have a profound impact on the firm. You will immerse yourself in industry knowledge, distilling vast amounts of information in a complicated and fast-paced environment. The role offers immediate responsibilities that are often not available in similar positions at larger firms.
Scout is looking for an exceptional candidate who exhibits a strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, competitive drive, and the ability to work well with others. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong interest in private capital markets, a history of strong academic performance, and demonstrated analytical abilities.
Please note that travel flexibility is required, as this role will involve semi-frequent travel to most major domestic markets including New York, Boston, Chicago, the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, San Francisco, and the Upper West Coast.
