About the Role
Elwood Staffing is seeking an Inventory Specialist for a contract-to-hire position on the second shift. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of our inventory operations, ensuring that product movements, receipts, and adjustments are accurately tracked and reported. You will serve as the guardian of stock accuracy, working closely with the warehouse team to prevent loss and ensure operational efficiency.
In this position, you will manage daily cycle counts, perform audits, and reconcile inventory variances. Your attention to detail will be essential in verifying lot and expiration accuracy to minimize waste. While the role involves operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers, training is available for those who need it. You will also support physical inventories and special counts, with flexibility to work overtime during peak seasons.
