The Hermès Maison Madison Flagship Boutique, opened in 1983, is a cornerstone of the New York Region, dedicated to providing extraordinary service to clients. This position operates within a fast-paced, luxury environment, reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Director and collaborating closely with sales and selling support teams to elevate the client experience.
As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be the guardian of the store's inventory integrity. Your day will involve managing the flow of merchandise with precision, ensuring packages and goods are received, ticketed, and recorded accurately on the day they arrive. You will handle the logistical lifecycle of products, including generating packing and shipping transfers, managing returns to vendors (RTV), and processing after-sales services.
Beyond daily operations, you will partner with store management to organize and reconcile weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories. You will also ensure the seamless availability of shipping, selling, and kitchen supplies. This role is vital for maintaining warehouse standards and developing inventory strategies that directly support the selling process.
