About the Role
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Inventory Control Handler to support supply chain and manufacturing operations in Baton Rouge, LA. This role is critical to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring that material staging and warehouse support activities run smoothly to keep manufacturing lines moving.
As an Inventory Control Handler, you will be the bridge between inventory systems and the physical production floor. Your day involves moving and staging raw materials and packaging supplies using scan guns, ensuring that all production lines are properly stocked before work orders begin. You will interpret work orders and pick lists to determine material requirements, utilizing inventory management systems and Excel schedules to drive efficiency.
Safety and compliance are central to this position. You will operate forklifts and material handling equipment while adhering to strict safety measures, food safety standards, and GMP compliance. The role requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, supporting FIFO inventory practices, and managing lot tracking systems. Effective coordination with team members and supervisors via radio communication is essential to support operational efficiency and assist manufacturing personnel as needed.

Requirements
