The Inventory Administrator serves as the operational backbone of our supermarket's stock management. This role exists to ensure that products are accurately recorded, properly stocked, and replenished to meet customer demand while maintaining operational efficiency. You will act as a critical liaison between purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams, working daily to prevent stock discrepancies and optimize our inventory management systems.
In this fast-paced retail environment, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock. Your day involves conducting regular inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations to identify variances early. You will process purchase orders and delivery receipts, coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking, and generate data-driven reports to support decision-making. Additionally, you will ensure that storage areas remain organized, clean, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards, while supporting store management during promotions and seasonal stock events.
