As a Nurse Manager in the Radiology department at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, you will serve as the Unit Nurse Leader, ensuring that quality nursing care is delivered to all patients in alignment with the hospital's philosophy, policies, and program plans. This role is vital for maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations specific to Radiology Nursing.
In this position, you will partner with the team to develop patient care standards, manage orientation and continuing education, and provide input into staff performance evaluations. You will actively participate in nursing Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, utilizing feedback to improve processes and services. Beyond administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll, and supply maintenance, you will maintain and role-model the clinical skills necessary to provide age-specific care, assessing patient needs based on growth and development principles.
