About the Role
The Nurse Manager at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center serves as the Unit Nurse Leader for the Radiology department. In this role, you will ensure that quality nursing care is delivered to all patients in accordance with the hospital's philosophy, policies, and program plans. You will play a pivotal role in developing patient care standards, managing orientation and continuing education, and providing input into staff performance evaluations.
Your day-to-day responsibilities involve participating in nursing Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and assisting with unit administration, including scheduling, payroll, and the maintenance of supplies and equipment. You will maintain and model the clinical skills necessary to provide age-specific care, utilizing principles of growth and development to assess and treat patients of all ages. This position requires you to ensure Radiology Nursing compliance with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations while fostering positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
