The Marketing Intern at Lamar's Corporate Office plays a vital support role in the daily operations of the Marketing department and special projects. This position is designed for a current Marketing student to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment while contributing to the team's success.
A day in the life involves a mix of logistical support and creative assistance. You will manage department office supply inventory, handle mail distribution, and track incoming and outgoing packages. You will assist with promotional inventory, ensuring items and storage areas are organized, and assemble and ship sales training materials to new hires weekly. The role also includes tracking marketing special request orders, such as swag items, and recording them in internal systems.
Beyond logistics, you will support the team's content and events. This includes assisting with sales training content within Highspot, monitoring local and corporate social media accounts, and conducting monthly and quarterly audits. On filming days, you may assist with video production, and during corporate events or trade shows, you will help assemble collateral and manage reservations.
