The Marketing Intern at Lamar's Corporate Office plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Marketing department and executing special projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment while contributing to the team's success.
A day in the life involves a blend of logistical support and creative assistance. You will manage departmental mail distribution, track packages, and maintain office supply inventory. A significant portion of the role involves assembling and shipping sales training materials, including swag items and collateral, to new hires and sales teams. You will also assist with promotional inventory organization and support corporate events and in-person sales training by preparing necessary materials.
Beyond logistics, you will engage with marketing content by assisting with sales training content in Highspot, monitoring local and corporate social media accounts, and conducting monthly and quarterly audits. On production days, you may assist with video filming for sales training. This role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of organization and detail.
