The Marketing Intern at Lamar's Corporate Office plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Marketing department and executing special projects. This position is designed for a current student pursuing a BS in Marketing who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
A day in the life involves a blend of logistical support and creative assistance. You will manage department office supply inventory, handle mail distribution, and track incoming and outgoing packages. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to preparing materials for sales training, including assembling, shipping, and recording orders for swag and sales collateral in our internal systems. You will also assist with promotional inventory organization and support corporate events by assembling collateral and organizing information.
Beyond logistics, you will gain exposure to marketing analytics and content management. You will assist with sales training content within Highspot, reviewing and monitoring content and analytics as needed. On production days, you may support video production for sales training. Additionally, you will help monitor local and corporate social media accounts, conducting monthly and quarterly audits to ensure brand consistency.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a comprehensive 2-week training program designed to integrate you into the team and familiarize you with our tools and workflows. This program sets the foundation for career advancement opportunities within the company.
