Vulcan Elements is manufacturing American rare-earth permanent magnets to secure a resilient future. With a focus on national security and economic stability, we serve critical industries including defense, aerospace, and automotive, powering a high-technology future. We are building a team of ambitious professionals committed to Mission Focus, Technical Excellence, and Transparency.
As the Integrations Engineer, you will serve as the connective tissue between Vulcan's operational and business systems. Your primary mission is to ensure data moves reliably across the organization, enabling our systems to work together rather than in silos. You will design, build, and manage the integration architecture that links our industrial and business platforms, specifically implementing a Unified Namespace (UNS) using MQTT/Sparkplug B as the data transport layer with supporting middleware.
In the near term, your focus will be on getting data flowing cleanly between systems. Longer-term, this infrastructure will become the foundation for Vulcan's data and AI capabilities. As Vulcan scales, this role offers the potential to grow into a team leadership position for the right candidate. You will work closely with the Business Systems Manager, system vendors, and cross-functional teams in operations, engineering, and finance to translate business process requirements into technical integration designs.
Candidates selected for this role must be U.S. Persons due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
Vulcan Elements is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
