About the Role
This position serves as a Long Tail & Latent Claims Examiner based in High Point, NC, with remote work options available. The role is designed to handle, review, and coordinate activities involved in complex long-tail and latent type claims, including environmental, toxic tort, asbestos, pollution, and health hazard matters.
The successful candidate will interpret policy coverage, establish reserves, and manage claims involving primary, excess, and umbrella coverage. A key part of the day-to-day involves coordinating defense counsel and expert witnesses, evaluating liability and damages, and supporting defense strategies. The role also focuses on aiding in the development and improvement of claims handling techniques and managing expense control and strategic protocols.
