As an Instructional Faculty member, you will play a central role in supporting the college curriculum and programs. This position encompasses teaching and learning, academic advising, professional development, and institutional and community service. You will establish courses following accepted higher education standards and teach students using a variety of effective methodologies to encourage learning.
The role focuses on courses related to human services, chemical dependency, and general clinical counseling. You will be responsible for developing syllabi, utilizing innovative teaching techniques, and evaluating student progress. Beyond the classroom, you will provide academic advising, maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues, and participate in departmental and college-wide activities to foster the mission of HCCS.
