The Valley View Public School District is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Instructional Paraprofessional to join our team at Pioneer Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year. This role is vital to our mission of supporting the educational, functional, and social development of every student. Working under the direct supervision of licensed staff, you will serve as a key partner in ensuring students have full access to instructional activities and a supportive learning environment.
In this role, you will be the bridge between instruction and student success. You will guide students through academic tasks and functional skills, working individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts. Your day will involve facilitating smooth transitions between structured and unstructured activities, both inside and outside the classroom, while implementing classroom management strategies to ensure safety and engagement.
You will also play a hands-on role in the classroom ecosystem by constructing and distributing educational materials, utilizing technology such as the Google Suite, and assisting students with digital devices and instructional programs. Collaboration is central to your work; you will coordinate closely with classroom teachers to align on instructional plans and attend professional development sessions to continuously grow your skills.
