As an Instructional Assistant, you will become an integral part of our school community, working directly under the supervision of the Principal and collaborating closely with teachers and administrators to ensure the success of our students.
This position serves as a vital support system within the classroom and office, performing routine clerical and instructional assignments to meet the specific needs of the students and departments served. You will operate with a degree of independence and judgment, handling sensitive information and interacting tactfully with parents, teachers, and staff.
Your day-to-day responsibilities involve assisting teachers with classroom duties, including providing small group instruction, and offering academic support to students in one-to-one, small group, or whole-class settings. You will also prepare classroom materials, assist with displays, and provide essential clerical support such as typing, filing, and maintaining records. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a moderate to quiet school environment, utilizing standard office equipment and computers.
