About the Role

As an Instructional Aide on our award-winning Special Education team, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of Middle School students. This position exists to provide personalized support, supervision, and guidance both in the classroom and within the community. You will collaborate closely with classroom educators to implement each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), tailoring instruction to their unique learning needs.

Requirements

verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test
verifiedAbility to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training
verifiedPrior experience providing instruction, guidance and/or support to children
verifiedHighly skilled in working with children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional behavioral disorders and/or other related disabilities
verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment

Nice to Have

Associate degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study. Current or in-process paraprofessional, paraeducator, education assistant, or similar credential. Prior experience in an alternative, special education, and/or behavioral health program setting.
