About the Role

As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines, installing and repairing services while educating customers on their use. This entry-level role is designed for those who enjoy solving technical challenges in a dynamic environment. No two days are the same in the field; you will stay active, work outdoors, and solve problems while building meaningful relationships with colleagues and customers.

We equip you with the training you need to succeed, including on-the-job training, a Broadband Apprenticeship Program, and opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications. You will have the chance to progress from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV, with opportunities to move into leadership positions.

Working Conditions

Field Technicians work outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of environments. You will receive support to build your confidence and skills to solve complex technical issues. The role requires traveling to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary, including during inclement weather. You will work with small components and wires, operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments, and work outdoors for extended periods in any season.
