As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines, installing and repairing services while educating customers on their use. This entry-level role is designed for those who enjoy solving technical challenges in a dynamic environment. You will stay active and work outdoors, where no two days are the same.
In this position, you will build meaningful relationships with colleagues and customers while overcoming daily challenges. We equip you with the training needed to succeed, including on-the-job training, a career self-progression plan, and a Broadband Apprenticeship Program. You will have the opportunity to progress from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV, earning industry-recognized certifications along the way.
Field Technicians work outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of environments. You will receive support to build your confidence and skills to solve complex technical issues. The role involves traveling to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary, including during inclement weather. You will work with small components and wires, operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments, and work outdoors for extended periods in any season.
