As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you will be on the front lines, installing and repairing services while educating customers on their use. This entry-level role is designed for those who enjoy solving technical challenges in a dynamic environment. You will stay active and work outdoors, where no two days are the same. From solving complex technical issues to building meaningful relationships with colleagues and customers, you will maximize your potential through on-the-job training, a career self-progression plan, and the Broadband Apprenticeship Program. Field Technicians can also earn an industry-recognized certification as they advance from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV.
Field Technicians work outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of environments. You will navigate changing conditions, including inclement weather, and may need to climb ladders up to 32 feet, work in confined spaces, and safely handle weight-bearing equipment. You will operate and navigate a company vehicle to travel to customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary.
