About the Role This is an experienced, desk-based Property Adjuster role designed for a telephone-concentrated environment without physical inspection of loss. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle low to moderate complexity property insurance claims. Working within defined guidelines, you will confirm coverage, analyze liability exposure, and negotiate equitable settlements in compliance with state regulatory requirements. The role requires recognizing and empathizing with members' life events while managing a proactive caseload.
This is a hybrid position requiring you to be in the office three days per week. The role is based in San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; Tampa, FL; or Chesapeake, VA. Relocation assistance is not available. Upon successful completion of a 12-week training program, you will transition to an eight-hour work shift (8:00 am – 5:30 pm local time), Monday through Friday, with availability for occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs. You may also be assigned to catastrophe (CAT) response operations, including mandatory on-call dates and potential travel with minimal notice.

Requirements

Nice to Have
1+ years of relevant property adjusting claims of moderate complexity; Experience desk adjusting residential property claims including water, roof, and personal property; File ownership handling claims from start to finish (scoping the loss, assessing damages, estimating, interpreting policy, making coverage decisions, settlement); Proficient in estimate writing using Xactimate and virtual tools (such as Claim X, Hover, and Hosta); Currently hold an active P&C Adjuster license; Experience working directly for a standard insurance carrier; Experience in an all-center environment; US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
