We are answering a call to action to expand our roster with an innovative Field Adjuster based in the Des Moines area of Iowa. This 1099 position is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, handling both residential and commercial property inspections. You will serve as the critical link between the carrier and the policyholder, utilizing your expertise to investigate claims, interpret official reports, and recommend claim reserves based on well-supported analysis.
In this role, you will conduct field inspections, obtain recorded statements from insureds and witnesses, and interview relevant officials such as fire or police departments. Your work involves reviewing coverage forms and endorsements to provide thorough, well-documented initial reports that address coverage issues. Success in this position requires strong time management and customer service skills, ensuring that every claim is handled with promptness, reliability, and a friendly demeanor.
