The Clinical Nutrition department at Intermountain Medical Center supports a diverse array of specialty services, including NICU, Adult Critical Care, Abdominal and Cardiovascular Transplant Services, Inpatient Rehab, and Diabetes Education. Our mission is to facilitate the nutrition care process, providing individuals with quality medical nutrition therapy for common disease states and promoting optimal wellness across the healthcare continuum.
As a Registered Dietitian Clinical, you will partner with healthcare providers to assess, diagnose, and treat patients through evidence-based medical nutrition therapy. This part-time role (24 hours/week) offers a dynamic day-to-day experience where you will interpret nutrition-related lab values, conduct nutrition-focused physical exams, and implement tailored interventions that respect patient needs, expectations, and culture.
You will collaborate closely with referring patients to specialty-trained dietitians and participate in department continuous improvement projects. Depending on your qualifications and experience, this position may be hired as a Registered Dietitian Clinical or a Registered Dietitian Clinical Specialist. Bilingual skills are highly valued and will enhance your ability to serve our diverse patient population.

Experience in clinical dietetics. 2 or more years of dietetics experience in a clinical setting. Experience in managing patients in a specialty area. Relevant dietetics-related specialty practice credential (CNSC, CSP, CDCES, CSO, CSR, CSOWM, etc.). Bilingual skills.
