About ID CARE
Since 1987, ID CARE has been the largest medical practice on the East Coast, providing the highest quality infectious disease services across central, northern, and eastern New Jersey. Our entrepreneurial, physician-led practice is professionally managed and includes over 100 providers, more than 50 of whom are board-certified infectious disease physicians.
We are dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of the full spectrum of infectious diseases across the continuum of care, serving both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our network spans 10 outpatient offices, several infusion and wound care centers, and partnerships with 170 hospitals and post-acute and long-term care facilities. Our physicians are deeply engaged with local hospital systems, medical schools, and public health initiatives, earning numerous awards for clinical excellence and teaching.
The Role and Culture
This opportunity offers a diversified practice environment where you will work alongside like-minded colleagues. You will engage in inpatient and outpatient consultations, wound care, travel medicine, and infusion services, while also having the freedom to pursue teaching, academia, clinical research, and leadership roles. Our team is reinventing the concept of a standardized infectious disease service line with a comprehensive offering of services.
Collaboration is at the heart of our culture. We utilize hospital coverage groups, or "pods," to ensure a team approach that enhances effective interaction among colleagues and standardizes patient care quality. You will work closely with Advanced Practice Providers to support the patient experience and participate in vibrant intellectual exchanges, from monthly journal clubs to our popular "ID CARE Physician Chat," where case conferences and solutions to challenging cases are discussed frequently.
