As an Infection Disease RN (Infection Preventionist), you will serve as a vital guardian of our facility's safety protocols. This role is designed to coordinate comprehensive programs that protect employees, patients, and the community from infectious threats. You will ensure our operations remain compliant with organizational policies and external regulatory bodies, acting as a bridge between clinical practice and public health requirements.
In this position, you will lead the Infection Prevention Committee, conduct risk assessments, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Your day-to-day involves analyzing infection data, investigating healthcare-associated infections, and collaborating with Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Facilities leadership to maintain a safe environment. You will also play a key role in employee health by coordinating wellness activities, managing vaccination tracking, and supporting staff during public health emergencies.
