About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Information Security Analyst to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customer in the China Lake, CA area. In this role, you will serve as a vital team member responsible for network monitoring, scanning, and ensuring compliance with Information Assurance (IA) requirements. Your work will directly impact the security posture of the immediate area of responsibility by managing elevated access, tracking system vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security policies.
You will act as a primary point of contact for personnel requiring assistance with IA-related issues, while also collaborating with the team to identify security trends and develop long-term mitigation strategies. A key part of your day will involve championing customer service excellence, assessing procedures for improvement, and ensuring accurate cybersecurity reporting to appropriate authorities.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position must possess an active SECRET clearance and meet specific certification and training requirements in accordance with DoD 8570.1-M and DoDD 8570.1. The selection process will focus on verifying these clearances, validating technical proficiency, and assessing critical thinking and communication skills.
