About the Role
As an Industrial Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational equipment within OEM standards. In this "continuous run" environment, your primary mission is to ensure the reliability of our production processes by performing skilled maintenance activities. You will be responsible for bringing equipment back to optimal performance through minor and major repairs, preventive maintenance, and the calibration of pneumatic and mechanical systems.
This role requires flexibility to adapt to WestRock's needs regarding work hours, shifts, and responsibilities. You will work as a dedicated team player, prioritizing safety in all activities and utilizing our Pre-Task Form analysis to ensure a secure work environment. Your day-to-day involves a blend of hands-on trade work—including electrical, plumbing, welding, and carpentry (as qualified)—and the operation of computer-controlled systems to monitor utility and mechanical equipment.
