About the Role

This position serves as a critical technical leader within our processed and refrigerated foods manufacturing plant. You will perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery and equipment, functioning as a "Lead" or filling that role to guide others. Your day will involve determining the causes of electrical and electronic problems, leading projects from both Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Continuous Improvement (CI) perspectives, and creating preventative maintenance procedures.

You will act as an expert in industrial fields, including electrical, fabrication, and machining, while championing safety efforts plant-wide. The role requires providing suitable solutions and estimating costs and timelines for equipment breakdowns, escalating issues to management when necessary, and performing additional facilities-related tasks as assigned.

Working Conditions

This role is based in a dynamic manufacturing environment where temperatures can range from 25°F to 115°F, in both wet and dry conditions. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Production demands may necessitate short-notice overtime and weekend scheduling. Shift differentials are available for Swing and Graveyard shifts.
